Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU has launched an MA programme in Drawing and Painting, MADP. Interested students can apply for the course on the official website of IGNOU.
The program has been designed for Fine Arts students to pursue a course that comprises theory, practice, and research. It covers core components such as Art history, Art education, Aesthetics, Principles of Art. The last date for submission of the application is July 15, 2021.
MADP will be headed by Dr. Mohd Tahir Siddiqui from the School of Performing and Visual Arts, IGNOU. To be eligible, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Animation/ Design/ Fashion Technology/ Textile or any other allied subject or Bachelors of Arts/ Bachelors of Fine Arts/ Bachelors of Visual Arts.
Candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 200 while applying for the programme. The fee for each year is Rs 8,250, which amounts to a total of Rs 16,500 as the overall programme fee.
