IGNOU Grade card
IGNOU Grade card is considered as the Marksheet of student which shows the Assignment/ Practical/ Theory/ Project marks/ Grade in a consolidated form, which can be checked online from University website. Online IGNOU Grade Card Status consists of Assignment Mark, Result (Marks) of Theory Examination, Practical Marks (If applicable to programme) and Project Marks (If applicable to programme).
After IGNOU Result is published, it may take few days / week to reflect the mark/ grade in the Grade Card Online. How to check Grade Card Status?
The method of checking ignou grade card status is very simple. If you want to know the method, we are proving the simple steps:
Step 1: please click on the university website i.e. http:// www.ignou.ac.in on google on your computer or mobile phone.
Step 2: Student will find one Menu name at top “Student Support”. Under it students will find “Student Zone”
Step 3: Select by more “Student Zone” link and a new page will open up. The student will find the menu name “Results” at top. Click on Results.
Step 4: On the Result Page,

Step5: Students want to check their numbers , so please click on “Ignou Grade card” link .
Step 6: As soon as you click on the link, the new page will open up where you can check the grade card for your respective program by entering your enrolment number.
Step 7: Now Enter your 9 digit Enrolment Number and click on the submit button. Your Grade Card will appear on the screen in front of you.
Step 8: Students can take a print out of it after seeing grade card status.

How to Calculate Percentage in IGNOU Grade Card ?
Percentage is calculated in IGNOU Grade Card based on weightage of Assignment Marks and Term End Theory Exam marks. Assignment has weightage of 30% and Term End Theory Exam has 70% weightage. Method Explained with example:
Suppose You have a Course/Paper named as FST-01 and You have scored 80 marks in Assignment and 60 marks in Theory exam.
Calculation:
Step 1: Take the marks of first column which contains assignment marks. Now calculate 30% of it. 30% of 80 Marks = 24 Marks.
Step 2 : Take the marks of “Term End Theory” from the second last column, Now calculate 70% of it. 70% of 60 Marks = 42 Marks.
Step 3 : Add both above marks , that is 24 + 42 = 66 Marks.
Hence your percentage for FST 01 Paper will be 66%. Similarly, You can calculate for each paper and finally you can find out your overall passing Percentage.
Note : Please pay attention toward assignment and try to score maximum marks in Assignment as it will help to fetch overall good percentage.
