Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) undergraduate BA programme has been introduced by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) (BAVMSME). On the eve of World MSME Day in 2022, the new initiative was introduced to the nation’s youth. The new IGNOU programme aims to meet the demands of today’s young entrepreneurs and will help them gain the information and abilities necessary to launch a firm. The curriculum will be made available beginning with the July 2022 session through the IGNOU School of Vocational Education and Training. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 are eligible for the BA Micro Small and Medium Enterprises programme. The deadline for applications is July 31.
The BAVMSME programme would help to inculcate knowledge for recognizing business opportunities, market study, innovation and implementation; planning and designing of a new project; exploring investment opportunities; development and maintenance of business, marketing and social networking; taxation and obtaining licenses.
The initiative aims to create chances for unskilled people and active entrepreneurs to receive training and advance their skills. The training will improve skills in accordance with market demands. Industry leaders and prosperous businesspeople will discuss their experiences to offer useful guidance.
The program’s primary goals include enhancing knowledge, skills, and competencies for starting one’s own business venture, studying market demand before starting a business enterprise, operating one’s own business successfully and profitably, inculcating managerial skills for setting up a new enterprise, enhancing interpersonal skills and leadership skills for empowering oneself and others, and providing an innovative and competency-based approach in the area of business. Successful businesspeople will impart their knowledge via cutting-edge blended learning.
